Consumer Reports, one of the most trusted sources of information and advice on consumer products and services, including the automotive industry, has released its test results for SUV models. The full test report will be published in the May issue of Consumer Reports which is now available in news sites. In addition, the May edition will also contain complete updates of previously tested minibuses and other models for small sports vehicles (SUVs).
Among the 20 popular small SUVs sold in international markets today, which have been tested by Consumer Reports staff, the newly developed Hyundai Santa Fe has received a "Very Good" overall consumer value rating.
Other small SUVs tested by Consumer Reports include Subaru Forester, Mitsubishi Outlander, Suzuki XL7 and Dodge Nitro. Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V are also included and have previously been tested by Consumer Reports. Equipped with a 220-hp 3.0-liter V6 engine in combination with a six-speed transmission, the Mitsubishi Outlander XLS rolls out to retailers who carry a $ 30,615 recommended reseller's recommended retail price (MSRP).

Meanwhile, the Dodge Nitro SLT has the smallest fuel efficiency and performance among the group SUVs tested by Consumer Reports. The vehicle has the same platform as
Jeep Liberty with Jeep side step. With an MSRP of $ 28,875, the Dodge Nitro offers a 210-hp 3.7-liter V6 engine with only 16 mpg, the group's worst. Inside, the 60/40 rear seat offers 39.5 cubic meters of storage space.
